NYC Medical Care & Mental Health

It is highly recommended that you identify a primary healthcare provider that you can see regularly for all your healthcare needs. Weill Cornell Medicine has multiple primary care practices that participate in your Aetna insurance. The closest location to the Tech Campus is the practice at 425 East 61st Street. By clicking here you can schedule an appointment online or call the office at 646-962-2399. If calling, please be sure to identify yourself as a Cornell Tech Student. Weill Cornell has other primary care practices located throughout Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. Click here to learn more.

You can also find other providers outside of Weill Cornell’s primary care practice who participate in Cornell’s Student Health Plan (SHP)  by using Aetna’s DocFind website. Be sure to include the zip code of the area where services will be received, and select “Student Health Medical Plans/ Open Choice PPO” as the health plan type. (The zip code for Roosevelt Island is 10044. Other nearby zip codes in Manhattan are 10022, 10021, and 10017.) Specific benefit details are available at www.studenthealthbenefits.cornell.edu.   You can find participating providers here. You can contact the Student Health Benefits office at 607-255-6363 or email: studentbenefits@cornell.edu for questions.

The following are a list of nearby health services by Cornell Tech campus. This is not an exhaustive list and is not a list of recommended providers, but rather a sampling provided for your convenience. Participating providers change frequently and you should consult the DocFind website for accurate information to select a provider of your choosing at a location convenient for your needs. You can see what services/immunizations each pharmacy provides on their website, by phone or in person.

Students with insurance other than the CUSHP should check their provider’s directories to find a participating pharmacy, clinic, or physician.
